Robert Zalenski, M.D., M.A., is a  professor in emergency medicine and palliative care.  Dr. Zalenski was the first physician member of the palliative care consult team at Detroit VA.  He is board certified in emergency medicine and palliative care.   He is a strong promoter of developing opportunities for healing and development in life's at end of life.

Margaret Campbell, Ph.D., RN, FAAN

Meg Campbell, PhD, RN, Palliative Care Service, DRH, is a nationally recognized leader in palliative care in the hospital setting.  Dr. Campbell served as a member of the Institute of Medicine's report "Approaching Death", a blueprint for reforming medical care to include a palliative approach.

Mike Stellini, M.D., Assistant Professor of Medicine, is chair of the newly formed section of palliative medicine and one of the first physicians in the country to achieve certification in the AMA's Program of Education for Physicians in End-of-Life Care.
