Karmanos Cancer Center
Karmanos Cancer Institute is an NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Services include bone marrow transplant, Phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical trials, primary and tertiary cancer care and comprehensive supportive/palliative care services.
John Dingell VA Hospital
Since 1939, the Detroit VA Healthcare System has been serving veterans of SE Michigan. In 1996, the medical center moved from its original location in Allen Park, Michigan to its current location in the Midtown area of Detroit. The john Dingell VA Medical Center services are available to more than 330,000 Veterans living in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and St. Clair counties. It is a full-service in-patient and out-patient facility with a Community Living Center housing an in-patient hospice unit for veterans with advanced serious illness.

Founded more than 40 years ago, Hospice of Michigan is the state’s largest not-for-profit hospice organization. Hospice of Michigan serves all communities in the lower peninsula with our fellows working with the Macomb County team
Angela Hospice
Angela Hospice is a non-profit hospice serving southeast Michigan. Founded in 1985 by Sr Mary Giovanni of the Felician Sisters—whose campus the hospice sits on in Livonia, MI. The Care Center was the first free standing hospice facility in Michigan established in 1994. They are opening a second free standing hospice facility in Waterford in 2024
Childrens Hospital of Medicine
Since 1886, the Children's Hospital of Michigan has provided the highest quality of care to children and adolescents in a caring, efficient and family-centered environment. A proud member of the Detroit Medical Center (DMC), the Children's Hospital of Michigan is the first children's hospital in the state. This 228-bed facility has an international reputation in pediatric medicine, surgery and research, training more pediatricians than any other facility in Michigan.
